Rice
Ingredients:
- 4 Cups Rice
- 4 Cups Water
- Pour the rice in the Instant Pot
- Pour the water in the Instant Pot
- Put the Instant Pot on rice for 12 minutes
- It will come to pressure and count down
- When the timer goes off, quick release
- Remove the lid and enjoy
Green Beans & Corn
Ingredients:
- 2 Quarts Canned Green Beans
- 2 Cups Frozen Corn
- 1 Quart Hot Water
- Dump the green beans, corn and water into a medium pot
- Put on the stove and put it on medium-high heat and bring to a boil
- After it comes to a boil, turn the heat down to low-medium heat and let simmer until time to eat, stirring occasionally
- Serve warm and enjoy
Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 2 Pounds Potatoes
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Stick of Butter
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Peel and wash potatoes
- Cut the potatoes into quarters then put in pot
- Fill the pot with water to cover the potatoes
- Let the water come to a boil and wait for the potatoes to get soft
- Drain the potatoes then add them to a mixer
- Add the milk, salt, pepper, and butter to the mixer
- Mix until smooth and creamy
Cooked Cabbage
Ingredients:
- 1 Head Cabbage
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- Black Pepper to Taste
- Cut the head of cabbage
- Place cabbage into instant pot
- Pour chicken broth over the cabbage
- Put the pepper on top of the cabbage
- Put it in the Instant pot for 4 minutes on pressure cook
- When the timer goes off, quick release
Sausage
Ingredients:
- Sausage
- Heat a pan to medium heat
- Place the sausage in the pan and let brown on one side
- Flip and let brown on the other side
Celery
Ingredients:
- Celery
- Tear the celery apart and wash it thoroughly
- Cut it into strips and serve
Ranch
Ingredients:
- 2 Ranch Packets
- 2 Cups Buttermilk
- 2 Cups Mayonnaise
- Combine ranch packets, buttermilk, and mayonnaise in a bowl
- Mix well and cover
- Let chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to thicken
- Serve and enjoy
BBQ Slaw
Ingredients:
- 2/3 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Mild Hot Sauce
- 2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Medium Head Cabbage, Cored and Finely Chopped
- Core and finely chop the cabbage head then put in a large bowl
- Add the ketchup, vinegar, sugar, hot sauce, kosher salt, and pepper
- Mix well and put in the fridge to chill
- Serve and enjoy
Corn on the Cob
Ingredients:
- Pot of Water
- Corn
- Fill the pot with water and put it on the stove and bring it to a boil
- While it is coming to a boil, shuck and wash the corn
- When the water comes to a boil, remove it from the burner and place the corn in the pot
- Put the lid on the pot and let sit until time to eat
- Serve and enjoy
Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 5 pounds russet potatoes
- Vegetable oil
- Super Bird Poultry Seasoning
- Wash and cut your potatoes into the size you like ( I cut mine in quarters)
- Put your potatoes in a bowl and mix with vegetable oil and seasoning
- Put your potatoes on a pan and put in the oven on 400 degrees for roughly 30 minutes
- Remove from oven, serve and enjoy
Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- Brussels Sprouts
- Put the frozen Brussels sprouts in the microwave
- Heat 4-6 minutes or until hot
- Take out of microwave and cut open bag
- Pour into a bowl and serve
Broccoli
Ingredients:
- Broccoli
- Put a frozen bag of broccoli in a bowl
- Put in microwave and heat for 4-6 minutes or until hot
- Take out of microwave and cut the bag open
- Dump broccoli into a bowl and serve
Green Beans

French Fries
Ingredients:
- Frozen French Fries
- Oil
- Heat oil to 375 degrees
- Dump fries into basket
- Drop basket into hot oil
- Shake occasionally
- Remove and put in bowl with paper towels when golden brown
- Season the fries if you wish
- Serve
Stewed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 3 Pounds Potatoes
- 6 Cups Water
- Pepper (to tase)
- 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Base
- Peel, wash and cut your potatoes into quarters
- Put your potatoes and water in the pot
- Mix in the vegetable base and pepper with the potatoes and water
- Boil the potatoes until soft and tender
- Remove from heat and enjoy
Bacon
Ingredients:
- Bacon
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F)
- Place bacon on a baking sheet
- Put the bacon in the oven for 15-20 minutes
- Take out and let cool
- Move to different pan and remove excess grease
- Serve
Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 Cup Very Cold Butter
- 1.33 Cups Cold Milk
- Preheat the oven to 425 (F)
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- Toss in the cubed butter to coat with flour
- Using a pastry blender or by rubbing the butter pieces between your fingers, work the butter into the flour until the butter pieces range in size from peas to almonds
- Using a silicone spatula, fold the milk into the flour mixture until most of the flour is moistened but the dough is still crumbly
- Turn out onto a well-floured surface
- With floured hands, pat the dough to a 1-inch thick rectangle. Fold the dough in half
- Cut the dough in half crosswise and stack the two halves on top of each other
- Pat the dough into a rectangle again
- Repeat folding, cutting, stacking, and patting 3 more times
- Roll the finished dough to about 3/4 to 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits using a 2.5 to 3-inch round floured cookie cutter
- Place on prepared baking sheet
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the tops and bottoms are golden brown
- Immediately brush with melted butter, if desired
- Enjoy
Broccoli With Cheese Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 Broccoli Heads (cut into florets)
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Garlic Clove (optional)
- 12 Ounces Processed Cheese (such as Velveeta)
- 4 Ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 4 Ounces Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1/2 Teaspoon Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder (plus more for sprinkling)
- Place the broccoli in a steamer over simmering water and steam it for 3-4 minutes, until slightly tender but not overly soft
- Pour the milk into a saucepan (nonstick is good)
- Then add the butter
- If you want to add a nice garlic flavor, grate or press in the garlic
- Set the pan over medium-low heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is hot
- Cut the Velveeta into cubes
- Grate the other 2 cheeses
- Stir in the seasoned salt, pepper, kosher salt, and chili powder
- Add the cubed Velveeta and stir until its melted and silky
- Add the cheddar and Monterey jack
- Stir the sauce slowly while everything melts together
- While it is hot, put the cheese sauce into self serving dishes
- Add chili powder on top for a little kick
- Serve and enjoy
